This Dreambike Niner was built with detail being weight conscious and without sacrificing strength. Niners ONE9 Scandium Frame with a King headset and a Fox F29 fork was the starting point. Originally Industry nine wheels were the game plan but with a week deadline and a 6 week wait on wheels it wasn't going to happen. Second choice was A custom King wheelset with Ti Spokes and Light Weight ZTR 355 rims with the front wheel using a 3x lace on the disk side Radial on the non-disk. Kenda Small Block 8 Tires chosen to grip the trail. A simple drivetrain consists of Truvativ Carbon SS NOIR Cranks, Chris King 18t cog and a KMC Z blue chain. Stopping power is taken care of by Avid 160mm Juicy Ultimates with Ti Hardware and some Magura Alloy bolts replacing the steel. We chose Easton for the cockpit using an EC70 Carbon Post topped with a Specialized Phenom, an EA90 stem and Carbon Monkeylite bar as steering essentials.
