No matter how old or what type of bike you ride, we can make it work better. From a specific problem to a complete going over we can help. We offer a few different tune up packages to suit your needs, or we can fix individual items on their own. The estimate is free so bring your bike by and one of our mechanics will help you get the best service for your money, and we strive to turn around the repair in the most timely manner possible. We can also rebuild your suspension bike, with full in-house capability to change all pivot bearings/bushings to make your full suspension bike feel like new.
Basic:
Includes adjustment of front and rear brakes, lubrication of brake pivots and cables, adjustment of front and rear shifting systems, lubrication of derailleur pivots, cables, and chain, adjustment of headset and BB bearings, cleaning of frame, inflation of tires, and a general safety check
Comprehensive:
Includes all work done in Basic Tune, PLUS removal of front and rear wheels for truing in truing stands, and adjustment/greasing of hubs
The Works:
Includes all work done in Comprehensive Tune, PLUS installation of all new cables and brake pads
90 Day Tune:
If you bought a bike from us, let us say thank you by offering you a free break-in tune up, on the house. Your new bike came with all new cables that are going to stretch out and bearing assemblies that will seat as you begin to ride the bike, so after a few rides bring it back in and let us fine tune it. Includes all work done in a Comprehensive Tune Up.

At Avalon Cycles, most of our employees are seasoned mechanics. We’ve worked on our own bikes for years, but more importantly, we’ve been working in real shops behind real service benches for a long time. This means your custom build is in very good hands.
